Senior Odoo Developer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Finance & Accounts Specialist to lead financial operations, compliance, taxation, and strategic financial planning. This role requires strong expertise in Indian financial regulations, hands-on ERP experience (Odoo/Zoho), and the ability to drive financial governance, reporting accuracy, and business decision support.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Compliance
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including AP/AR, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF, and other statutory regulations.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Financial Reporting & Finalization
- Prepare and finalize financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow.
- Ensure compliance with Ind AS and applicable accounting standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
Billing & Invoicing
- Supervise billing cycles, invoicing processes, and revenue recognition.
- Ensure accuracy in invoicing and timely collections.
- Monitor receivables and optimize cash flow.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to management.
- Drive cost optimization and performance tracking initiatives.
Taxation & Regulatory Compliance
- Manage GST filings, TDS returns, and direct/indirect tax compliance.
- Handle corporate tax planning, advance tax calculations, and tax optimization.
- Manage income tax assessments, notice, and liaise with tax authorities.
- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulatory frameworks.
Audit & Governance
- Lead statutory and internal audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act and ROC requirements (where applicable).
Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Monitor cash flow, fund utilization, and working capital requirements.
- Manage banking relationships and financial risk.
- Optimize liquidity and ensure efficient fund management.
ERP & Financial Systems
- Manage and optimize accounting processes using ERP systems such as Odoo or Zoho.
- Drive automation, reporting accuracy, and system improvements.
- Support ERP implementation and upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 6+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and taxation
