Inside Sales / Business Development Executive – Digital Agency (New Business)

We are looking for a highly motivated New Business Sales Executive who can generate, nurture, and close new client opportunities.

  • Not a passive inbound lead role 
  • A pure new-business professional focused on pipeline, meetings, and closures

Key Responsibilities 
Lead Generation & Prospecting 
  • Identify and research high-potential clients (startups, D2C brands, SMEs, corporates) 
  • Generate outbound leads through LinkedIn outreach, cold emails, cold calling, and networking 
  • Build and maintain a strong prospect database 
  • Qualify leads and book meetings for the senior sales/strategy team 
New Business Development 
  • Understand client marketing challenges and position relevant digital solutions 
  • Present agency capabilities, services, and case studies 
  • Coordinate with the internal strategy team to develop proposals 
  • Drive consistent follow-ups and move prospects through the pipeline 
Sales & Revenue Growth 
  • Close small-to-mid-size retainers and project-based deals 
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets 
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and CRM hygiene 
  • Track and report on KPIs: 
  • Leads generated 
  • Meetings booked 
  • Proposals sent 
  • Deals closed 
  • Revenue achieved 
Relationship Management 
  • Build long-term relationships with decision-makers (Marketing Heads, Founders, CXOs) 
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities 
  • Ensure smooth handover to the account management team post-closure 
Required Skills 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills 
  • Confidence in cold calling and LinkedIn outreach 
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing services: 
  • SEO 
  • Performance Ads 
  • Social Media 
  • Website Development 
  • Content Marketing 
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills Self-driven with a hunter mindset 
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce is a plus) 
Preferred Background 
  • Experience selling digital marketing, branding, web development, or media services 
  • Prior agency sales experience preferred 
  • Experience selling to D2C brands, startups, and mid-market companies
