Role Overview 

• We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Consultant with hands-on experience in RISE with SAP and S/4HANA Public Cloud environments. 
• The role demands strong expertise in SAP system administration, cloud-based landscape management, and S/4HANA migration/transformation projects. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing end-to-end Basis operations in a cloud-driven environment. 

 Key Responsibilities 

SAP Basis & Cloud Operations 

• Administer and manage SAP S/4HANA systems in RISE with SAP (Public Cloud) environment 

• Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting 

• Manage transports, system refreshes, and client administration 

 RISE with SAP Implementation & Support 

• Work on end-to-end RISE with SAP implementations, upgrades, and support engagements 

• Collaborate with SAP, hyperscalers, and infrastructure teams 

• Ensure system availability, reliability, and performance in cloud environments 

 Migration & Upgrade Projects 

• Execute and support S/4HANA conversion and migration projects (SUM with DMO) 

• Perform upgrades, patching, and release management 

• Support system landscape transformations 

 Cloud & Infrastructure Management 

• Work with public cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) hosting SAP workloads 

• Understand cloud architecture, sizing, scaling, and high availability concepts 

• Support backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies 

 Security, Compliance & Governance 

• Manage user administration, roles, and authorizations (basic level) 

• Ensure compliance with security and audit requirements 

• Follow SAP best practices for system hardening and governance 

 Incident & Change Management 

• Handle incidents, service requests, and root cause analysis 

• Participate in change and release management processes 

• Maintain documentation and operational runbooks 

 Required Skills & Expertise 

Core Technical Skills 

• 8+ years of strong SAP Basis administration experience 

• Hands-on experience in: 

• RISE with SAP (Public Cloud) 

• SAP S/4HANA systems 

• SAP tools: SUM, DMO, SPAM, Transport Management System (TMS) 

• Experience in system installations, upgrades, and migrations 

 Cloud Expertise 

• Exposure to AWS / Microsoft Azure / Google Cloud Platform (GCP) 

• Understanding of SAP on cloud architecture and operations 

 Nice to Have 

• Experience with SAP Solution Manager / ChaRM 

• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) 

• Exposure to automation and monitoring tools 

 Certifications (Preferred) 

• SAP Certified Technology Associate (S/4HANA / Basis) 

• Cloud certifications (AWS / Azure / GCP)
