Senior Network and Infrastructure Engineer

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer with 8+ years of experience in designing, implementing, deploying, and managing enterprise network infrastructure across corporate and industrial (OT/IT) environments. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in setting up and supporting networks across manufacturing plants, factories, warehouses, and office locations while ensuring high availability, security, and performance for business-critical operations.
Key Responsibilities
Network Implementation & Deployment
- Support end-to-end implementation of enterprise network infrastructure projects.
- Install, configure, and deploy:
- Routers
- Switches
- Firewalls
- Wireless devices & Access Points
- WAN connectivity devices
- Perform site readiness checks and infrastructure assessments.
- Execute LAN/WAN deployment activities across enterprise and plant environments.
- Setup and manage network infrastructure for factories, warehouses, offices, and industrial operations.
Configuration & Network Management
- Configure and manage:
- VLANs
- Trunking
- STP / RSTP
- Inter-VLAN Routing
- OSPF / BGP
- VPNs
- ACLs
- Support IP addressing and subnet planning.
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Monitor network performance and proactively troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain secure and optimized enterprise and OT/IT network environments.
Migration, Cutover & Infrastructure Operations
- Participate in network migration and cutover activities.
- Perform configuration backup and restoration.
- Execute device replacement and migration plans.
- Coordinate maintenance windows and implementation schedules.
- Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning.
- Support hybrid and cloud networking environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Testing, Validation & Documentation
- Conduct implementation testing and validation.
- Verify connectivity, routing, failover, redundancy, and security compliance.
- Perform UAT and post-implementation health checks.
- Prepare implementation reports, SOPs, and sign-off documentation.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation and operational standards.
Troubleshooting & Support
- Provide L1/L2 support during deployment and post-implementation phases.
- Troubleshoot routing, switching, firewall, and connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with OEM vendors, ISPs, and cross-functional teams.
- Resolve implementation and infrastructure-related incidents efficiently.
- Support industrial connectivity and plant-floor network operations.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Network & Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise and industrial network deployments.
- Experience managing networks across plants, factories, warehouses, and office environments.
- Strong understanding of OT/IT network environments and industrial networking infrastructure.
- Expertise in routing & switching technologies:
- BGP
- OSPF
- VLANs
- STP/RSTP
- Hands-on experience with:
- Cisco / Juniper / Aruba networking solutions
- Firewalls such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Check Point
- Experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and enterprise security implementations.
- Knowledge of cloud networking platforms:
- AWS
- Azure
- GCP
- Experience with virtualization technologies:
- VMware
- Hyper-V
- Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to industrial network security and plant-floor connectivity is an added advantage.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field
- Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, AWS, Azure) preferred
